English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
A new building for the quality control in of vegetables and fruit has been taken into use in Wageningen. SHOTS: - Strawberries and apples are picked and collected in baskets; - ext. new building; a car drives onto the inner court and delivers a crate of apples; - int. building: demonstration of the keeping method using gas: the crate of apples is placed in a gastight room; an airhose is connected an a tap is opened; demonstration of the process method of freezing; a container of fruit is put into a freezer; laboratory staff doing different activities, a.o. using an Erlenmeyer flask; a panel of employees tastes the flavour of the vegetables.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
In Wageningen is een nieuw gebouw voor de kwaliteitscontrôle op groenten en fruit in gebruik genomen. SHOTS: - Aardbeien en appels worden geplukt en verzameld in manden; - ext. nieuwe gebouw; op de binnenplaats komt een bestelauto aanrijden waarna een kist appelen wordt afgeleverd; - int. gebouw: demonstratie van de bewaarmethode gasbewaring: de kist met appelen wordt in een gasdichte ruimte geplaatst; een luchtslang wordt aangesloten en een kraantje geopend; demonstratie van de verwerkingsmethode invriezen; een bak met fruit wordt in een diepvrieskast geplaatst; laboratoriummedewerkers verrichten div. werkzaamheden, oa met een erlemeyer; een panel van medewerkers proeft de smaak van de groenten. |
