English: Hermes Criophorus (Ram-Bearer) from Troezene. Pentelic marble, Roman copy of the 2nd century CE after a Greek original of the 5th century BC (museum description) or a Roman free adaptation of the Doryphoros type (Legrand).
Français : Statue d'Hermès en marbre pentélique trouvée à Trézène. Le dieu est nu avec une chlamyde et porte un pétase sur la tête. De la main droite, il serre les cornes d'un bélier assis à côté de lui sur ses pattes arrières. Copie du IIe s. p. C. d'un original de la fin du Ve s. attribué à Naukydès, sculpteur de l'école de Polyclète (description du musée) ou adaptation libre romaine du type du Doryphore (Legrand).
