Montage of two stained-glass windows in the north and south transept of the Basilica of Saint Servatius in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

Summary[edit]

Description
Nederlands: Montage van twee gebrandschilderde ramen in de transepten van de Sint-Servaasbasiliek in Maastricht. Beide ramen dateren uit de periode 1870-1880 en zijn afkomstig van het glasatelier F. Nicolas en Zonen uit Roermond. Links het raam in het noordertransept met 7 van de 21 legendarische bisschoppen van Maastricht, verder Sint-Petrus en twee scènes uit het leven van Sint-Servaas, namelijk het opwekken van een bron en zijn kroning in de hemel (geschenk P. Regout, 1872). Rechts het raam in het zuidertransept met Sint-Maternus en de overige 14 bisschoppen van Maastricht (in 1880 geschonken door enkele welgestelde families).
