Description
Deutsch: Ehemaliges Mausoleum der Adelsfamilie von der Recke-Volmerstein im Werdringer Wald, nahe ihres ehemaligen Wohnsitzes, dem Wasserschloss Werdringen. Erbaut wurde die Grabeshalle aus Bruchstein im Jahr 1859. Auf dem Stein über dem Eingangsportal steht: „Das Blut Jesu Christi macht uns rein von aller Sünde“. Ehemals standen im Inneren vier Zinnsärge auf steinernen Stelen, mit: Graf Ottomar von der Recke-Volmerstein (gestorben am 9.9.1859), seiner Gattin Theresia von Bentheim-Tecklenburg († 25.9.1861), Dietrich Graf von der Recke-Volmerstein († Januar 1915) und einer Theresia († 13.5.1874), vielleicht die Tochter von Ottomar und Theresia? – Eine historisch einzigartige Erbbegräbnisstätte in Hagen.
