Description
Nederlands: Detail van een gezicht op het centrum van Maastricht vanuit het zuidoosten, vanaf het westwerk van de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk. De meeste gebouwen op de voorgrond liggen aan de Bredestraat. Het grote dakencomplex rechts is de Stadsschouwburg ("Bonbonnière"), waarin nog de gevels van de sterk verbouwde Jezuïetenkerk zijn te herkennen. Links op de achtergrond de torens van de Sint-Janskerk en Sint-Servaaskerk. In de verte de spitse dakruiter van het Beyartcomplex. Opname op de dag van het bombardement op Luik van 9 augustus 1914.
