Montage of two sides of a Romanesque capital in the westwork of the church of St. Servatius in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The capital shows 5 members ("operarii") of the so-called Heimo workshop of stone sculptors at work.

Description
Nederlands: Fotomontage van twee zijden van een kapiteel in het westwerk van de Sint-Servaaskerk in Maastricht, gefotografeerd door G. de Hoog in 1916. Het kapiteel toont de steenbeeldhouwers ('metsen' of operarii) aan het werk met twee nog onbewerkte blokken steen (lapis). De vijf afgebeelde beeldhouwers behoorden waarschijnlijk tot het atelier dat in Maastricht minstens 80 gebeeldhouwde kapitelen en andere reliëfs afleverde, en ook elders werkzaam was (Rolduc, Utrecht, Schwarzrheindorf, Eisenach). Het atelier wordt wel aangeduid als Heimo-atelier, naar de vermoedelijke leider, die op een kapiteel in de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwebasiliek is afgebeeld.
