Eliza Lee Cabot Follen reports on the amount of dairy products promised in response to her "milk petition" for the anti-slavery fair. She encloses checks from different donors to be used for Dr. [William Ellery?] Channing's address. Follen said: "I have thought of this Latimer business all the time." Follen confesses that she "wrote the song to the air of the Troubadour."
