DescriptionLateral-Diffusion-on-Tubular-Membranes-Quantification-of-Measurements-Bias-pone.0025731.s005.ogv |
English: Image sequence showing movements of quantum dot-labelled lipid on a lipid tube (right) pulled from a giant vesicle (left). The synthetic lipid membrane was composed of sphingomyelin and cholesterol in 1∶1 molar ratio with 0.01 mol% of biotin-PEG2000-phosphatidylethanolamine as an anchor for streptavidin-coated QDs. The acquisition interval between frames was 15.7 ms, corresponding to slow-motion deceleration of around 2× in the movie. The scale bar is 5 µm. |
