Summary[edit]

Description
Nederlands: Paneelreliekhouder van het Heilig Kruis (Maaslands, ca. 1220), mogelijk afkomstig uit de Sint-Servaaskerk in Maastricht, tegenwoordig in de collectie van het Museum Kunst & Geschiedenis (Jubelparkmusea), Brussel, inv. 1035. Verguld koper over een houten kern, versierd met drijfwerk, ciseleerwerk en filigraanwerk, bruinvernis, cabochons en vier hoekplaatjes van email cloisonné met de vier evangelisten. In het midden een met edelstenen versierd dubbelkruis (patriarchaalkruis), waarin zich oorspronkelijk het kruisreliek bevond. Uit het opschrift in bruinvernis op de achterkant blijkt dat het paneel nog andere relieken bevatte van apostelen en van typisch Maaslandse heiligen.
