Das als Vorlage verwendete Gemälde blieb im Besitz der Familie von Rose Bertin und wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört. Wie viele Werke von Trinquesse wurde es auch Jean-Honoré Fragonard zugeschrieben (vom Metropolitan Museum of Art wird es dies bis heute). |
