Description
English: Thapsigargin blocks the nicotine induced delayed Ca 2+ -response in the MB lobes. Application of thapsigargin, 15 min before and during the nicotine application (100 µM) blocks the secondary response in the MB lobes, suggesting that this delayed response requires the intra-cellular calcium store in the endoplasmic reticulum. Each frame represents 60 s of light accumulation and is shifted by 10 s (6 frames/s). The movie is seen 60 times faster. The light emission (photons/pixel) is coded in pseudocolors (0-5 photons/pixel) (QuickTime; 536 Ko). (0.55 MB MOV)
