| Description |
Deutsch: Blick von der Uferstraße auf die Mühlenteichstraße im Nahmertal Richtung Schleipenbergstraße im Hagener Stadtteil Hohenlimburg. Der Ortsteil Nahmer gehört zu den ältesten Gewerbetälern Westfalens. Im 16. Jahrhundert wird schon eine Drahtrolle erwähnt, 1571 ein Kupferhammer gegründet und 1810 bei J.P. Hüsecken das Kaltwalzen erfunden. Seit dieser Zeit entwickelten sich hier größere Industriebetriebe, darunter Puddel-, Walz- und Röhrenwerke. Die Standortnachteile zwangen aber seit den 1970er Jahren viele Betriebe sich zu verlagern oder zu schließen. Das große Waldgebiet (rechts), westlich von Nahmer- und Nimmertal, liegt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet „Stoppelberg“, mit Wanderwegen von Schloss Hohenlimburg über Schleipenberg (336 m), Schmittau, Stoppelberg (378 m) bis nach Brechtefeld. In Höhe der Stahlschmiede befindet sich die ehemalige Wallburg „Sieben Gräben“. |
