Nederlands: Vanmorgen om 05.00 uur vond een enorme inval plaats in het Nieuwstraatkwartier, Wondestraat, waaraan 450 medewerkers van de politie, het openbaar ministerie, de belastingdienst en het UWV bij betrokken waren.
Het gaat om de goed georganiseerde wiethandel, een goed samenwerkende criminele organisatie die al enkele jaren in de wijk opereerde. Er kwamen al geruime tijd geluiden uit de wijk dat men zich onveilig voelde. Bij de inval zijn 13 aanhoudingen verricht, er is beslag gelegd op 13 voertuigen en 12 woningen en een aantal loodsen/garages worden momenteel onderzocht. Er werd ook een vuurwapen aangetroffen. Aan de overval ging een anderhalf jaar durend onderzoek vooraf. |
