Description
Deutsch: In Berlin entstand ab 1884 der Sitz des Parlaments und damit der wichtigste Ort der deutschen Demokratie. Nach der Zerstörung im Zweiten Weltkrieg und dem Wiederaufbau in den 1960er-Jahren wurde der Reichstag 1999 wieder mit einer Glaskuppel versehen.
English: From 1884 the seat of the parliament was built in Berlin, making it the most important place of German democracy. After it was destroyed in World War II and rebuilt in the 1960s, the Reichstag was again given a glass dome in 1999.
