English: Higher Teachers' College. As part of an overall effort to increase and improve educational facilities in Afghanistan, the Government concluded an agreement with the United Nations Development Programme to establish a Higher Teacher Training College in Kabul. The agreement was signed in 1964 and UNESCO in the executing agency. The development of curricula and new teaching methods as well as the preparation of teaching materials is an important feature of the work. Teacher and students in geography workshop using materials made in College by students.
Français : Ecole Normale Supérieure. Dans le cadre du programme d'élargissement et d'amélioration de l'enseignement, le Gouvernement afghan a conclu un accord en 1964 avec le Programme des Nations Unies pour le développement pour créer une école normale supérieure à Kaboul. L'UNESCO est l'agent d'exécution de ce projet qui met en grande partie l'accent sur le développement des programmes d'études et des nouvelles méthodes d'enseignement ainsi que sur la préparation de matériel pédagogique. Professeur et étudiants en géographie utilisant la matériel préparé par eux-mêmes à l'école.
