English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Bull inspection of Frisian herdbook cattle in the Friesland Hall in Leeuwarden. Representatives from 25 country's, a.o. China and Algeria, sit on the stands. Bull Bertus, the 3-year-old son of Gerard Wouter from Jelsum, is declared champion. Also an A.I. station, where sperm is taken from a bull an frozen for artificial insemination, and shots of cows in the field of which the udders are supported by ropes.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Stierenkeuring van Fries stamboekvee in de Frieslandhal te Leeuwarden. Vertegenwoordigers uit 25 landen, oa China en Algerije, waarheen het stamboekvee wordt geëxporteerd, zitten op de tribune. Stier Bertus, de 3-jarige zoon van Jelsumer Gerard Wouter, wordt uitgeroepen tot kampioen. Verder een KI-station, waar sperma van een stier wordt afgenomen en wordt ingevroren voor kunstmatige inseminatie en koeien in de wei waarvan de uiers worden ondersteund met touwtjes. |
