L.S.C.: Leidsch Studenten Corps, Virtus Concordia Fides (\'Leiden student association, virtue, unity, loyalty\'). The fraternity was founded in 1839 and merged in 1974 with the sorority V.V.S.L. (Vereeniging voor Vrouwelijke Studenten te Leiden) into the mixed student association Minerva.
All the freshmen were dressed in trenchcoats, wore a flat cap and had their heads shaven. The supervisors were dressed in military uniforms. Freshmen of the L.S.C. were assigned to a subassociation such as Pro Patria for their initiation ceremony.
