| Description |
English: Ford through the Washburn Though I suspect that it would be easy to cross through this ford during the summer, you would certainly struggle on a day like today. It is deep, wide & the current is strong. I suspect that this ford is the original crossing, and could be medieval or older as the footpath can be followed as far as the Kex Gill Road to the west (that pre-dates the A59). |
