English: Finnish war children. During certain periods new contingents of children came every day to Stockholm for onward destination. The picture, from February 1944, a few newly arrived children are being taken cared of by the Swedish Women's Voluntary Defence Service. The children were carefully fitted with name and address labels.
Svenska: Finska krigsbarn. Under vissa perioder kom dagligen nya kontingenter av barn till Stockholm för vidare destination. På bilden, från februari 1944, tas några nyanlända barn om hand av lottor. Barnen försågs noggrant med namn- och adresslappar. |
