Description
English: Coal mining in England by county. Red shows counties where deep excavation mining still takes place (Note: Kellingley Colliery lies along the border between North and West Yorkshire thus qualifying them both). Grey shows counties where mining took place in 1984 at the time of the most recent miners' strike.
