Summary[edit]

Description
English: Part of Midland Road, Bedford, England, seen from the east, showing emergency vehicles outside the Roman Catholic church of The Holy Child and Saint Joseph. A man had climbed the scaffolding around the church tower and was throwing things off. He was later arrested: see Bedford church roof stand-off: man arrested.
The small crowd who had gathered to watch treated it all quite lightly, "like watching a movie" as someone said.
