Français : Ce manuscrit anonyme fait l'éloge du scientifique et philosophe Blaise Pascal. Trois autres sont conservés à la bibliothèque du patrimoine de Clermont Auvergne Métropole, la plupart intitulés Éloge de Blaise Pascal et portant les n°3, 4 et 5, avec un texte différent.
Ils ont probablement tous été réalisés comme le n°5 dans le cadre d'un concours d'éloges de Blaise Pascal lancé par la Société d'encouragement des sciences, des lettres et des arts de Clermont-Ferrand en 1822.
Les éloges n°1 et 4 sont conservés à la bibliothèque du patrimoine sous la cote MS 2279 et leur date d'entrée dans les collections est 17/05/2005, avec mention "dons du Centre international Blaise Pascal".
English: This anonymous manuscript is a eulogy of the scientist and philosopher Blaise Pascal. Three other manuscripts held by the Clermont Auvergne Métropole Library, most of them entitled "Eulogy of Blaise Pascal", are numbered 3, 4 and 5 and contain a different text.
They were all probably written as part as a Eulogy contest of Blaise Pascal, launched in 1822 by the Société d'encouragement des sciences, des lettres et des arts de Clermont-Ferrand.
The texts numbered 1 and 4 are held at the Clermont Auvergne Métropole Library and entered the collections on may 17th, 2005. They were donated by the Centre International Blaise Pascal.
