Description
English: Modern photo of "The Singer" by Edward Onslow Ford, showing restoration of polychrome finish on the base of the harp. The statue is 50% lifesize and cast using the lost-wax method. Owing to the difficulties of shooting handheld in artificial light various tweaks and colour/contrast corrections have been performed, and the overall image has been lightened to emphasise detail. Because the statue is in a glass case some stray reflections have intruded into this shot. A version of this photo has appeared on Flickr under my username Ketrin1407.
