The draft on us for five hundred dollars we have charged to your acct and passed the same to credit Quinby & Kendig pr receipt annexed. The proposal you make of drawing on us we excede too with pleasure It will be perfectly convenient for us to advance whatever amt you may want. If equally convenient to you we would prefer drafts at one [day?] sight where the amt exceeds say 250 Dolls. Since writing you we have recd 35 Bbls Flour making in all 127 Bbls now on hand which since storing we have not offered for sale but will dispose of it whenever we may think it most to your advantage. owing to the unusually mild weather we still have which leaves every navigable communication with the City open – Flour is very dull – though western maintains about the same price as when yours" On back of document on right: "yours was stored.
