As you were wanting raisins of the above quality (when in town) we have accordingly sent you five kegs which being something under the market price will answer your sales --- The balance of your Flour in Store was sold this day at $5 1/8 We think that it would be better for you to send all the Flour you can this fall as it is doubtful whether it will bring as much in the spring Fresh ground is selling at $5 1/8 to $5 3/8 There is about 40 bbls of your Flour branded bad which we will endeavour to sell to the best advantage Judge Scott the person who it was thought held the mortgage on your farm – has called and informs us that it is in possession of one who has gone to the state of Pennsylvania and that nothing as yet has been done about it E G Faile & Co”
