EERSTE PONT-TRANSBORDEUR IN NEDERLAND; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 30 uit 1939.; De eerste transbordeur in Nederland, een hangende pont die onder de Maarsserbrug over het Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal bij Maarssen is bevestigd. SHOTS: - brug met scheepvaartverkeer en werkende transbordeur onder brug; - man met paard-en-wagen gaat aan boord van transbordeur en wordt naar de overkant gebracht, waar hij weer uitstapt.
