English: *(G) Immunohistochemistry using a polyclonal KIT antibody on a skin biopsy from a solid-colored horse. Blue staining indicates KIT expression throughout the epidermis. Melanin produced by melanocytes is visible as brown granules.
Español: Biopsias de piel: caballos no blancos (izquierda) y de caballos blancos (derecha). La tinción con azul identifica la actividad de la proteína Kit, mientras que la melanina es visible en la muestra no blanca en forma de gránulos de color marrón.
