Description
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented. – Polygoon on the farm: instructive examples of how to handle animals. Shots: Pigs are led out of the barn and are fed; foal and horse are seperated and put together again; farmer and man (representative of the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals?) show how to lift a pig; shots of cows + tying together their legs; man with cat, rabbit and chicken (demonstrating the right way to lift them); close up of pig with piglets. Note: Film made for World Animal Day?
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd. – Polygoon op de boerderij: Instructieve voorbeelden van het omgaan met dieren. Shots: Varkens worden schuur uitgelaten en gevoederd; veulen en paard worden gescheiden en weer bijeengebracht ; boer en man (vertegenwoordiger Dierenbescherming?) tonen optillen varken ; shots koeien + het vastbinden van de poten; man met kat, konijn en kippen (demonstreert juiste tilwijze) ; cu zeug met biggetjes.
