Description

Depicted person: Karl XV av Sverige-Norge

Svenska: Fäste av förgylld, reliefornerad mässing. Kappa i form av ett lejonhuvud, övergående i ryggbeslag ornerat i form av en lejonman. Yttre parerplåten stor och med genombruten rankdekor och bladornament, på utsidan en oregelbunden vapensköld, delad i ett övre blått och ett nedre rött fält av emalj. I det övre fältet finns tre kronor, i den nedre det norska lejonet. Bakre parerstången kort och inrullad samt ornerad på utsidan med akantusblad i låg relief, därintill sitter en oval stämpel: "J. A. EK". Insidans parerplåt är liten och nedböjd. Parerplåtarna övergår framtill i en handbygel som ca 30 mm från knappen delar sig och är intappad på var sida om lejonhuvudet. Runt handbygeln en slingrad bladranka.
Kavel klädd med svärtat fiskskinn med nio räfflor i vars bottnar sitter två parter tvinnade, förgyllda mässingstrådar.

Klinga smal, böjd, eneggad fram till det 247 mm långa spetspartiet, jelmanen, välld damaskering. På basens insida stämplat: "JOH. SVENGREN ESKILSTUNA". Klingans rygg från fästet fram till jelmanen med ansvällt tvärsnitt, detta fortsätter som en ås fram till udden. På starka delens ut- och insida ett etsat och förgyllt språkband, på utsidan texten: "Fäderneslandet", på insidan: "Konungen". Därefter på utsidan snäckornament, ovanför detta en krönt vapensköld med tre kronor samt en nordstjärna, omgiven av strålar.
