Italiano: Lo strumento, usato per determinare il peso specifico del latte e verificarne l'eventuale annacquamento, si presenta come una lunga ampolla di vetro con un bulbo terminale da un lato, una stretta cannula e un termometro dall'altro. La scala graduata all'interno della cannula permette una lettura del valore di densità. È contenuto in una custodia cilindrica di cartone marmorizzato (cm lungh. 29; diam. 3).
