Als de trein in Utrecht is aangekomen, vertrekt vanaf een ander perron een feestelijk versierde elektrische trein voor de eerste rit over hetzelfde traject in omgekeerde richting. SHOTS: -ext. en int. van de twee treinen tijdens de ritten; -langs de kant van de spoorbaan staan juichende en zwaaiende mensen; 1'04" president-directeur NS ir. W. Hupkes (midden).

When the train arrives in Utrecht, a festive decorated electric train leaves from a different platform to make a ride along the same trajectory in the opposite direction.
