פיסגת גבעת רש"י בישוב קדומים הוא שטח שטוח יחסית בגובה של 500 מטר מעל פני-הים. בחלקו הצפוני מצוי ריכוז של צמחיית בר. הפיסגה, בחלקה הגדול מחוץ לשטח המוניציפלי של קדומים. בקצה הצפוני מוצבת אנטנה . בשוליו המזרחיים נטועים מטעי-זיתים, בבעלות ערבית ובשוליו המערביים - בבעלות תושב דומים. דרומית לפסגה, בגובה 510 מטר מעל פני הים, שוכנת ישיבת קדומים] ומתחתיה שכונת גבעת רש"י] (בגימטריה 510) ולמטה ממנה: שכונת מצפה קדומים צפונית לפיסגה נמצאת אולפנת להב"ה ושכונת גבעת שָלֵם]- ממנה ניתן להשקיף על שכם ומכאן שמה. שמה של הגבעה במפות הטופוגרפיות "גֶ'בֶּל עַרַבּ אֶל-מַרְן".
