On the bottom of page one through page two of this manuscript, is a copy of a letter by Mrs. Eliza Lee Cabot Follen "To Madam Rodman, Madam Chapman and the other friends who presented Miss Martineau's tapestry to Mrs. Follen," on January 2, 1845. See Ms.A.9.2 v.20, p.136 for another copy of this letter, except with a different salutation and heading. This letter is a reply to Mrs. Rodman's letter of December 31, 1844
At the top of page one of this manuscript, there is a rough draft of a letter by Madam Rodman to [Mrs. Eliza Lee Cabot Follen], Amory Hall, [Boston, Mass.], Dec. 31, 1844, regarding the presentation of a gift to Mrs. Follen. See Ms.A.9.2 v.20, p.136 for the final version of this letter
