English: Close-Up of Proximal Convolution in a NaK ATPase:GFP Transgenic Embryo The proximal pronephros adjacent to the glomerulus (dashed circle; gl) is imaged for 28 h between 48 and 76 hpf. Large arrowheads mark the position of proximal convolution in both tubules; small arrows mark the migrating cells of the proximal nephron. Skin ionocytes and the gut epithelium are also fluorescent due to expression of GFP from the NaK ATPase a1.A4 subunit promoter. Frame interval is 30 min. Number of frames is 57. Each frame is a flattened confocal stack. |
