DescriptionClach nam Breatann.jpg | Clach nam Breatan, Glen Falloch, Scotland. G. W. S. Barrow notices this in The Kingdom of the Scots, p. 115. It may have marked the northern boundary of the Brythonic kingdom of Alt Clut (Dumbarton Rock), later Strathclyde. In later times it may also have marked the boundary between the counties Dumbarton and Perth. On the opposite, south, site of Glen Falloch is Allt Criche, the March Burn, another likely frontier of bygone days. Said traditionally to have been where the lands of the Scots, the Britons and the Picts met. |
