Description
English: Capt. Gary M. Rose served as a Special Forces combat medic during the Vietnam War. Nearly 50 years later, Rose will be awarded the nation's highest honor for treating 16 of his fellow Soldiers during Operation Tailwind, a four day mission in the nearby country of Laos. Under his care, all returned alive.
