For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Koard Sues 18.8.1967 Berlin: Stahlskelett der Turmkugel des Fernsehturmes wächst. Auf einem Platz vor dem Berliner Rathaus wächst das Stahlskelett der Turmkugel des Fernsehturmes. Monteure des VEB Industriemontage Leipzig sind unermüdlich hier tätig. Die Turmkugel wird in einer Höhe von 200 Meter - etwa in der Höhe des hier sichtbaren Teils des Turmes - später montiert. In dieser Höhe befinden sich dann Café und Aussichtsplattform des Turmes. Die Gesamthöhe des Turmes wird 362 Meter betragen. |
