Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; De noodkist van St. Servaes, waarin relieken van St. Servatius, de eerste bisschop van Maastricht, worden bewaard, moet worden gerestaureerd. In aanwezigheid van mgr. J.M.J.A. Hanssen, bisschop van Roermond, opent mgr. Jenneskens, deken van Maastricht, tijdens een speciale dienst de kist voor het eerst sinds 1863. Hij controleert de met middeleeuwse stof omwikkelde relieken, waarna gelovigen langs de relieken defileren. Met archiefmateriaal van de 7-jaarlijkse Heiligdomsvaart waarbij de noodkist van St. Servaes door Maastricht wordt gedragen.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; The shrine of St. Servaes has to be restored. It holds the relics of St. Servatius, the first bishop of Maastricht. In the presence of the bishop of Roermond, Mgr. J.M.J.A. Hanssen, the dean of Maastricht, Mgr. Jenneskens, opens the shrine for the first time since 1863. He checks the relics, which are wrapt in medieval fabric, and after that the worshippers file past the relics. With archive footage of the 7th annual Sanctuary Procession where the shrine of St. Servaes is carried through Maastricht.
