Description
Nederlands: de Bibliotheek (een filaal van Noord Fryslân, ontdekdebieb.nl) op het eiland Terschelling in de plaats Midsland aan de Brouwershoekweg 4, langs de Midslander Hoofdweg met fietser, richting het zuidoosten met zicht op een boerderij aan de Seerijp. Het gebouw is in 2006 ontworpen door Martijn Linde in opdracht de gemeente Terschelling en Jorissen Simonetti architecten. Het dak is groen aangeplant (Feenstra Dakbedekking) zodat het gebouw opgaat in het landschap. De daklijn staat voor de branding. De glasgevel laat licht door en toont de levendigheid van de bieb. Het rode rood staat voor de Schellinger daken. De kolom(men) verwijzen naar kennis cultuur. (bron: https://lindearchitectuur.nl)
