Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Tgv de invallende dooi is Marken vanaf het land niet meer goed bereikbaar over het ijs van de Gouwzee. Door diezelfde dooi is tevens het ijs gaan kruien en is daardoor op het eiland een aantal aanlegsteigers kapot gedrukt. Daardoor zou, bij een eventuele griep-epidemie, Marken niet of moeilijk van hulp kunnen worden voorzien. Om dit probleem vóór te zijn, besluit de plaatselijke huisarts, dokter Pasdeloup(?), de gehele bevolking, ouder dan twaalf jaar, te vaccineren. SHOTS: - Vanuit de haven van Monnikendam(?) glijdt een ijsvlet (een soort ijszeilboot) over het ijs van de Gouwzee naar Marken; - ijsschotsen liggen bij Marken kris kras opgestapeld tegen de dijk tot vlak bij de woonhuizen; enkele kinderen(?) in klederdracht klauteren moeizaam over de schotsen heen; - mannen, vrouwen en kinderen in klederdracht komen door de sneeuw aanlopen bij het huis van de dokter; iedereen doet zijn klompen uit en voegt die bij het reeds aanwezige enorme aantal klompen; in de spreekkamer wordt iedereen ingeënt.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; Marken is no longer easily accessible across the ice of the Gouwzee because the thaw has set in. Because of the thaw the ice has also begun to drift and because of the pressure some quays were destroyed. For this reason it will be impossible or difficult to provide aid in case of a possible flu epidemic. To overcome this problem beforehand the local general practitioner, doctor Pasdeloup(?), vaccinates everyone over twelve years. SHOTS: - From the harbour of Monnikendam(?) an ice punt (a type of ice sailing boat) glides across the ice of the Gouwzee to Marken; - ice floes are stacked against the dyke right up to the houses; some children(?) in traditional attire stuggle to climb over the floes; - men, women and children in traditional attire come walking to the doctor's house through the snow; everyone takes of their cloggs and leaves them with the many cloggs that are already there; in the consulting room everybody is vaccinated.
