Bilingual road signs in Spanish and Basque in Bilbao

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Basque language is a language isolate, not knowingly related to any other language, and called "Euskara" in Basque. It's spoken in the Basque region near the Pyrenees on the French/Spanish border. This photo taken in 1990 shows road signs near Indautxu in Bilbao, somewhere along Ercilla Kalea.
