Description
English: Robert Lawrence Balzer (1912-2011) undergin ordination in the Cambodian temple Wat Phrachumsagar in Phnom Penh, speaking to his preceptors. Balzer had been in Phnom Penh to report for United Press on the coronation of Norodom Suramarit. He stayed with the buddist name of Dhamma Sarana in the order for 12 days under the tutelage of Bhante Dharmawara (1889-1999).
