BLIJF ER AF - EEN WAARSCHUWING TEGEN LANDMIJNEN; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 29 uit 1946.; Grote voorraden munitie uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog zijn in Nederland achtergebleven. De kijkers worden aangespoord om er niet aan te komen. SHOTS: - militair geeft op een landkaart de vindplaatsen van munitie aan; - op een buitenterrein liggen kisten munitie; grote stapels losse granaten, pantservuisten, kogels; div. soorten mijnen zijn in de grond ingegraven; - militairen met mijndetectors zoeken een terrein af; gevonden munitie wordt met elektrische kabels op afstand tot ontploffing gebracht; - in scène gezette acts: twee jongetjes negeren een waarschuwingsbord; zoeken op een (verboden?) terrein; vinden munitie; spelen ermee en blazen zichzelf op; ander jongetje ondergaat hetzelfde lot wanneer hij bij een buitenterrein een waarschuwingsbord voor landmijnen negeert; militair dekt het slachtoffer af; man en vrouw wandelen door bos en hei; man vindt oude Duitse handgranaat; zet deze op scherp en werpt hem weg; granaat explodeert.
