Alpage AL-300 cassette deck (1979), also sold under many brands as OEM product

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Alpage AL-300 cassette deck was manufactured by Alpine (Japan) in 1979-1983 [1]. While the Alpage brand was limited to Japanese home market, the model was sold worldwide under many brands (mostly Philips subsidiaries). An almost indistinguishable clone was the Eumig FL-900; the marginally modified Philips siblings included Aristona SR3780, Erres SR3780, Loewe SR3780, Mediator SR3780, Philips N5788, Pye SR3780, Siera SR3780 [2]. The Philips bunch had a digital counter, different autoplay and tape-select controls, and apparently cheaper cassette lid construction; all other controls and all the innards were exactly the same.
