Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Reddingsdemonstraties aan het strand door leden van de kustbrigades. SHOTS: - mensen arriveren per fiets bij de stampvolle fietsenstalling bij het Bloemendaalse strand; - strandscènes: op het strand is het bomvol met mensen; zwemmers en baders in zee; andere mensen wandelen langs de strandstoelen; dames van middelbare leeftijd zitten te breien; kinderen spelen aan de rand van het water; twee meisjes rijden op een paardje(?); - reddingsdemonstraties: redders gaan op div. manieren in zee om "drenkeling" aan land te brengen: ze gaan zélf het water in aan de haspellijn of mbv de "levende ketting" (waarbij de mensen elkaar vasthouden), óf ze varen met boten; na de redding geven ze het slachtoffer kunstmatige ademhaling, handmatig en mbv een soort brancardwip. Aantekening : Wat betreft de locatie: jaarlijst Polygoon noemt Zandvoort, in het commentaar is er sprake van Bloemendaal.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; Rescue demonstrations on the beach by members of the lifeguard brigades. SHOTS: - people arrive by bike at the chock-full bike stands near the beach of Bloemendaal; - beach scenes: th beach is packed with people; swimmers and bathers in the sea; other people walk by the deck chairs; ladies of middle age are knitting; children play at the water's edge; two girls ride on a little horse(?); - rescue demonstrations: rescuers enter the sea in several different ways to take a "drowning person" to shore: they themselves go into the water attached to a reel line or by "human chain" (people holding each others hands), or they sail on boats; after the rescue the victim is given artificial respiration, manually and by using a sort of seesaw stretcher. Note : On the location : the year list Polygoon calls it Zandvoort, in the comments it's called Bloemendaal. |
