Description: An iron ball at the bottom of the Chateau Reno cross is engraved in French:The sailors of Chateau Reno: in memory of the brave soldiers of the Egyptian army who fell in the attacks on Acre. They fell while fulfilling their duty with great splendor.

תיאור: כדור ברזל בתחתית צלב שאטו רנו עליו חקוק בצרפתית: "המלחים של שאטו רנו: לזכר החיילים האמיצים של צבא מצרים שנפלו בהתקפות על עכו. הם נפלו בעת מלוי תפקידם בפאר רב. אלוהים קבל אותם אל חיקו לנצח".
