Description
English: Aluminothermic reaction

- A homogenized mixture of powders of aluminum and iron(III) oxide is put in porcelain vessel and lighted via magnesium ribbon. Extremely violent reaction occurs. The iron is in liquid state at first and lately crystallizes. After cooling, the solid iron balls can be separated by means of a magnet.

Македонски: Алуминотермија

- Хомогенизирана смеса од алуминиум во прав и железо(III) оксид земени во техиометриски сооднос 1 : 1 се става во тигел (лонче за жарење) и се пали со магнезиумова лента. Доаѓа до исклучително бурна реакција на редукција. Поради високата температура, во прв момент добиеното железо е во форма на капкички (течно), а потоа кристализира. По ладењето, од смесата железото може да се издвои со магнет.
