Македонски: Парче метален натриум се става во епрувета со концентрирана сулфурна киселина. Епруветата е поставена во сад со вода заради безбедносни причини. Во моментот кога металот доаѓа во контакт со киселината започнува силно егзотермна и бурна реакција. Металот се топи, а ослободениот водород спонтано се пали заедно со стопениот метал. Во даден момент, епруветата се крши и содржината се разлева низ садот со вода. Главната реакција која се одвива може да се запише со равенката:
2Na(s) + 2H2SO4(l) = NaHSO4(s) + H2(g) Осмислено и изведено од Марина Стојановска, Миха Буклески и Владимир Петрушевски, Институт за хемија, ПМФ, УКИМ, Скопје.English: A piece of sodium metal is added to a test tube filled with concentrated sulfuric acid. The test tube is placed in a jar with water for safety reasons. When the metal comes in contact with the acid, a highly exothermic and vigorous reaction takes place. The metal melts and the hydrogen gas is spontaneously ignited together with the melted metal. At a certain point, the test tube brakes and the content is spilled in the jar. The main reaction that takes place can be described by the equation:
