Summary[edit]

Description
English: Interior of entrance hall of Bonbonnière in Maastricht, the Netherlands. This building of 1877-79 was part of the former city theatre and stands at the site of the demolished sacristy of the Jesuit Church. The rest of the baroque church is still largely standing, although much altered. In 1773 the Society of Jesus was suppressed by the pope. The church became the town's main theatre until 1992. It is now hired out for functions.
