Starr-Boyd Building, demolished 1954
Mutual Life Building, still extant as of 2018
The lower two stories of these two buildings survive as of 2018; upper parts were lost due to the 1949 quake.
The one on the left was once known as the K&R Building, the one on the right as the Gordon Hardware Building.
As of 2018, there's a multi-story parking garage here.
This block is pretty much intact as of 2018.
